Th is a course in the history, culture, and psychology of
non-magickal people in order to help young Witches and Wizards understand the difference between the wayMuggles think and the way Wizards and Witches think.
Wizards and Witches should have a thorough understanding of the non-magickal community, particularly if they're thinking of
working in close contact with them in any capacity.
Note worthy: Most Muggles are either afraid of Magick or believe it to be nothing but a childish fantasy. Wizards and Witches hide their world with Muggle-Repelling Charms, and if a Muggle witnesses a Magickal event or sees a Magickal creature such as a dragon, their memories are erased.
"But it'll be fascinating to study [Muggles] from the wizarding point of view." -- Hermione Granger
Muggles, indeed are a curious bunch and students in this class will study their habits and history via fashion, trivia, transportation, occupation and observation culminating
in a comparison of the life of aMuggle with that of a Wizard or Witch.
